Between my full-time day job and life, I have definitely let myself become distracted from the website for the last several months.   • I’m trying to lose weight by locarb dieting and exercise.

    • Low carb and exercise is a great start for weight loss for sure! My recipes aren’t necessarily all super low carb, but they are sugar free and definitely much lower carbs than regular baked goods. So you still get to feel like you’re treating yourself, but without the insulin spike. Plus the higher protein content makes them more satiating so you’re more likely to feel full afterwards, and less likely to have cravings. Also, protein helps build muscle which burns more calories than fat, so that will help you with your weight loss as well. All the best!

    • Hi Melanie, thanks for your comment. Yes I suppose I haven’t really delved into that arena yet, but it’s something I would like to start doing in the future. Protein soups, protein sauces, protein bread for sandwiches, protein crackers etc. Anything else you had in mind?
