TRADITIONAL MEASUREMENTS VS FOOD SCALE
I usually measure ingredients using the traditional cup, teaspoon, and tablespoon Measurements. Things like fruit, nuts and sticky things (like blackstrap molasses) etc. however are more easily and accurately measured with a food scale in grams. I’ll usually include the more traditional measurements for those who don’t have a scale, but it would definitely be worth investing in one if you plan on baking a lot.
At some point I’d like to create a comprehensive measurement conversion chart with all the ingredients I work with, but for now I’ve included a basic conversion chart courtesy of Remodelaholic.com, as well as Fahrenheit/Celsius conversions.
