Hey there protein buffs!
It’s been awhile since my last recipe post. I have however been hard at work adding a bunch of other content and pages. If you haven’t already, check out my comprehensive Where To Buy section which will help you figure out where to buy all the ingredients I work with, and at the best prices I might add!
I’ve also added pages on Protein Baking Basics, Ingredient Substitutions, Protein Baking For Vegans, Gluten-Free Protein Baking, Measurement Conversions, as well as Links and Resources that I use for my protein baking and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I hope that these will be helpful for you guys!
NEW RECIPES, NEW INGREDIENTS
I’ve also been hard at work baking up a storm and coming up with new protein powder recipes, so you’ll be seeing a flood of posts from me over the next few days for sure. Just before christmas I discovered the wonderful natural sweetener called erythritol, which has revolutionized the way I do my protein baking! I have also started working mostly with plain unflavored whey protein isolate, as opposed to the flavored varieties, so you will see both of these on centre stage in my upcoming recipes.
REFELECTIONS FOR NEXT TIME
Because of this big change, and my anticipation that more eureka moments will happen in the future, I’ve decided to add a “Reflections For Next Time” at the end of some recipe posts, so I can give you the scoop on what I would do differently to improve the recipe for next time. That way, if I learn something new afterwards that I think could improve the recipe, you’ll be in the loop.
Well, I’ve got another 20 recipes to post, so I’d better get started! I hope your 2014 is off to a great start towards your health and fitness goals!
