This healthy onion dip is an awesome greek yogurt dip for veggies. This greek yogurt dip recipe is a low fat, high protein dip, with high impact flavor! This protein dip is also great with chips (if you should be so naughty!) and pretty much anything else you might want to dip in a bowl of proteiny goodness. It’s super simple (2 ingredients) and it’s an easy, and much healthier twist on the basic sour cream dip. You may have already made this yourself before, but I thought I’d share it for those who haven’t.
- 500 mls 2% plain greek yogurt (I like Liberte as it’s the lowest in carbs. Also don’t go fat free, not worth it on this one)
- 1 package of onion or vegetable dry soup mix (Knorr is the best, but any brand will do. Just be careful not to get a “creamy” version – not good. I’ve made that mistake before)
- If you can manage to mix your protein dip up right into the yogurt tub, you’ll save some dishes, otherwise, grab a bowl and mix it in there.
- Let it sit for at least an hour so the dehydrated soup can rehydrate (if you don’t wait, it will be crunchy). When it’s ready, give it a stir and dip away!
